A 15ct yellow gold ruby stick pin, circa. 1890’s
The head of the pin is modelled in gold as a stylised sunburst and set to the centre with a round-cut deep pink ruby.
The reverse is stamped 15CT.

In the modern world, these stick pins have multiple uses and are often worn as lapel brooches, tie or stock pin stays for gentleman, hat pins and even as extra buttons to hold a low cut shirt together!
