A 1930’s ‘Moi et Toi’ diamond ring
This two stone diamond ring dates to the mid 1930’s and is set with two diamonds, one measuring c. 0.36cts and 0.39cts.
The claw setting is quite low profile making it deal for every day wear. The claws and shank are both 18ct yellow gold with the remains of a fineness stamp to the shank interior.
UK ring size: O 1/2
Weight: c. 2.2g
The ‘Moi et Toi’ name was traditionally given to significant pieces of jewellery with two main stones, typically the lovers stone of a diamond, one to represent ‘me’ and the other to represent ‘you’. This ring was originally first given as an engagement ring in 1937 and has remained in the same family until now.
