A George IV silver ‘pocket watch’ style vinaigrette
This wonderful George IV silver vinaigrette is designed like a pear cased pocket watch.
It opens to reveal a gildled hinged grill pierced with grape vine.
Both sides of the vinaigrette are engine turned with a vacant cartouche to the front suitable for engraving.
The inside lid is hallmarked for London, 1821, makers mark T.E.
Measurements: c. 3.4cm wide.
