The bale will fit most chains and is plain polished.
Weight: c. 5.2g
Measurements: c. 4.8cm long including the bale.
Ivy was a common theme for jewellery design in the 19th century. Being an evergreen, the fact that it is always there and not forgotten made it an important symbol for the use in both religious jewellery such as this cross and in mourning jewellery.
