A Victorian ‘entwined hearts’ diamonds, sapphire and ruby ring

Description

This sentimental ring shows two lovers hearts entwined together with ribbon tie and was a popular, Romantic motif in the 19th century.

This ring is set in yellow gold and silver with a single blue sapphire and ruby surround by a single-cut diamond border totalling approximately 0.35cts.
Like many rings of this period, the back of the ring is closed enabling it to be engraved with initials today.
Each shoulder is carefully engraved with decorative scrolls to add a delicate touch.
