An Early 19th Century Banded Hardstone And Rose Gold Ring

An early 19th century banded hardstone and rose gold ring

The hardstone to the centre, probably a form of agate,  measures 13mm diameter and shows a soft pink-brown-white concentric banding.

It is in a cut-down yellow gold open back collet setting with a wide tapering yellow gold shank.

Ideally suited to both a man or a woman, it is an unusual statement piece.
