A magnificent Victorian diamond five stone ring, circa 1880’s.
The ring is set in a rub-over claw setting with five graduated, old cut diamonds with eight tiny diamond chip accents in between, to create a linear design.
The central stone measures c. 1cts with the flanking stones measuring 0.71cts, 0.71cts, 0.16cts and 0.18cts.
The setting is a traditional Victorian 18ct yellow gold scroll setting (tested by us) which continues into the shoulders. The shank interior bears the remains of a mark but this is now lost through age and wear.
Total diamond weight: c. 2.76cts
UK ring size: N
This ring is in good original condition with very little signs of wear. It has remained within the same family since it was first made until now.
