Description
This wonderful 19th century gold fob seal is decorated with a rococo-style loop and flowerheads. The matrix is a cushion-shaped jasper, delicately carved and engraved with the motto ‘Welcome’ with an outstretched hand and a messenger bird with a letter in it’s beak.
Whilst the fob is unmarked, it tests as a minimum of 9ct gold.
Measurements: 16mm wide
